Noticing difficulties with pronunciation, understanding instructions, or sentence formation may warrant an assessment. To identify challenges early and keep your child’s development on course, our Speech Pathologists are the perfect starting point.
The duration and style of therapy can vary significantly, subject to your child’s needs. Our adaptable, personalised plans are continuously reviewed to match your child’s development. Therefore, the treatment period could range from a handful of weeks to several years.
Speech therapy rebates can be claimed with private health insurers. Your rebate will depend on your level of cover. Medicare rebates may also be available under a Medicare subsidized Health Care Plan (accessed via your General Practitioner).
Our speech therapists are located near you. We have speech pathology clinics both North and South of Perth in Shenton Park and Success.
Our Shenton Park clients visit us from many of the surrounding suburbs such as Daglish, Subiaco, Jolimont, Wembley, Floreat, Claremont, Mount Claremont, Karrakatta and Nedlands to name just a few suburbs close by.
Our Success clinic is visited by clients from the surrounding suburbs such as Cockburn, Jandakot, Beeliar, Bibra Lake and Leeming to name just a few suburbs close by our South of the River clinic.
Not always. Parents/ carers may self refer by calling (08) 6383 9918 or emailing enquiries@kidspeakperth.com.au. A referral from your General Practitioner is required for families claiming sessions under a Medicare subsided Health Care Plan.

Not at all! Speech and language skills require practise and develop over time. We can work with you to build these skills to ensure they become easier for your child.
