Speech Pathologist

Sarah holds a Bachelor of Speech Pathology degree from Edith Cowan University and is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist (CPSP) with Speech Pathology Australia. She has undertaken additional Sounds-Write (phonics/literacy), Natural Language Acquisition (Gestalt Language Processing) and Auslan/Key Word Sign certifications and has experience working in early learning, school, disability and private practice settings. Her areas of interest include early language development, literacy and speech sound delay/disorder and she has experience in the areas of language delay/disorder, speech development, Global Developmental Delay, Autism, Gestalt Language Processing and Intellectual Disability.

As a mother of two, Sarah is passionate about delivering family centred practice and building positive rapport and meaningful relationships with clients and their families. She believes in supporting clients holistically through multidisciplinary and neurodiverse affirming approaches, to assist clients to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life. She strives to make intervention fun, personalised, engaging and interest based and to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the clients and families she supports.
